Position: Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician
. Promptly and professionally assisting the doctor in patient care.
. Performing technical workups, taking patient medical histories and special testing.
. Entering patient health history into the electronic medical record.
. Communicating with patients regarding follow-up care, surgeries, procedures, changes in schedule, symptoms, surgery scheduling, etc.
. Assisting in minor surgery.
Candidate should have experience as an Ophthalmic Technician. COT or COA preferred, but not required.
This is a full-time position but would consider part-time person to fill the schedule. We offer a full benefit package and competitive wages.
