Karl Randolph (Randy) Pierce, M.D.
Dr. Pierce is a board-certified ophthalmologist whose practice includes treating a wide variety of eye diseases and problems. He routinely sees patients of all ages, including school age children. Dr. Pierce offers treatment including glasses, contact lenses, therapeutic use of lasers, and medical or surgical management of many eye diseases. He also routinely performs LASIK surgery to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.
Dr. Pierce provides ophthalmic care for patients from the Austin Independent School District Needy Student program and Mental Health Mental Retardation program. He also provides exams through the National Eye Care Project.
Dr. Pierce was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Prior to moving to the Austin area, he lived in Galveston for several years. He and his wife enjoy living in Austin with their four children
