Eye Physicians of Austin provides laser eye surgery, performed by expert laser eye surgeons, as well as general optical solutions provided by our Austin ophthalmologists and eye doctors. Dr. Wollan has a particular interest and extra training in glaucoma, a symptomless but dangerous disease.

Peter T. Wollan, M.D.Dr. Wollan is a native of Austin who is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist. He met his wife, Dr. Megan Hahn Wollan, while they were attending high school together locally. His wife is currently a practicing anesthesiologist. Their daughter, Anna, recently arrived in the world and is learning new things everyday. Dr. Wollan received his Bachelor of Science at St. Edward's University, double majoring in biology and chemistry. He received his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he also continued his residency in general ophthalmology with fellowship training in glaucoma. He has a keen interest in glaucoma. His formal training includes filtering, shunt, and other corrective procedures. Dr. Wollan is also accepting general patients including cataract surgery candidates and people suffering from dry eye. Dr. Wollan has an interest in artistry and considered majoring in art before deciding to pursue a medical degree. He recently returned to Austin and is looking forward to participating in volunteer screenings and other community outreach programs. Educational Background
