Peter T. Wollan, M.D.

Dr. Wollan is a native of Austin who is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist. He met his wife, Dr. Megan Hahn Wollan, while they were attending high school together locally. His wife is currently a practicing anesthesiologist. They have three children; Anna, Sophie and Ben.

Dr. Wollan received his Bachelor of Science at St. Edward’s University, double majoring in biology and chemistry. He received his medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center Houston where he also continued his residency in general ophthalmology with fellowship training in glaucoma.

He has a keen interest in glaucoma. His formal training includes filtering, shunt, and other corrective procedures. Dr. Wollan is also accepting general patients including cataract surgery candidates and people suffering from dry eye. Dr. Wollan has an interest in artistry and considered majoring in art before deciding to pursue a medical degree. He enjoys participating in volunteer screenings and other outreach programs.
